Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: 2026-08-31

Our commitment

We want everyone interested in the service to be able to use this site comfortably — including visitors who rely on a keyboard, a screen reader, or a reduced-motion preference. Accessibility has been part of the build and is checked continuously.

What is implemented and tested

Among the measures implemented and verified:

  • Full keyboard navigation, including a focus-trapped menu, Escape to close, and focus return
  • One main heading per page, a logical heading structure, and a single content copy per chapter for assistive technologies
  • Reduced-motion support: continuous animations stop and all content remains available
  • Alt-text strategy: decorative imagery is marked decorative; the founder portrait is described in both languages
  • Labelled form fields with announced validation errors and focus moved to the first invalid field
  • AA-level color contrast for essential text (axe reports no critical or serious violations)
  • Correct language and direction on both routes (Hebrew RTL, English LTR)
  • Comfortable touch targets and at least 16px input text on mobile

Known limitations

In full transparency, these are the limitations we know of today:

  • The desktop scroll-choreographed chapters are delivered to assistive technologies as a parallel static version that differs visually from the cinematic experience
  • Decorative background typography is intentionally low-contrast and is not part of the content
  • No external certification audit (Israeli Standard 5568) has been performed

Status of this statement

The site is built to a WCAG 2.1 AA-oriented technical standard and verified with automated tools and manual checks. As no external certification audit has taken place, we do not present a formal conformance certificate.
